GlogauAIR Project
Divine Trash
In recent years, I have lived in several cities in America and Europe, and I have had the opportunity to develop an understanding of how the system functions in terms of politics, economics, and culture. We keep saying we live in a better world, but there are ecosystems whose realities go beyond common sense. In the last year, I have lived in a small town in Ecuador characterised by the Venezuelan migration, and I am lucky to be close to great individuals living under vulnerable and extreme circumstances. Individuals who are the representation itself of colonialism, noble men and women who have been abandoned and exploited by political and social interests, and seem to be lost in the new bourgeois hierarchical system. Divine Trash is the name of the project I will develop in the residency, in which I want to honor the lives of those who bear the scars of human battles, the world’s chargers.
